Rate it a 4 out of 10. Went expecting to laugh out loud from all the hype the movie's been getting. Guess it's a particular brand of humor I don't subscribe to. Very dry, droll wit about a dysfunctional family with Gene Hackman as the Dad. He's one of the few funny spots with his antics, but the 'kids' are for the most part just dull and boring. Take your chances on this one. You might find it hilarious. Of the 70 or so people in the theatre, about 6 were laughing at everything.. the rest were silent.
