Rate this a 4. Was ok but unless you already know the history of Ali's early days and Malcolm X, the story was hard to follow and figure out who all the characters were and their relevance to Ali's life. Will Smith was really good, also Jamie Foxx, but Ron Silver was wasted. Jon Voight was a surprise and did a credible Howard Cosell imitation.. even looked a lot like him with makeup. Lots of the story was with background music whose words seemed to reflect what was going on at the time and lots of close-ups of Ali in thought.. just too slow and confusing a story line to rate higher.
