I love this zoo. It gets better all the time and with kama'aina rates it's a fun family thing to do. Almost always easy to park for cheap and lots of the animals are in natural settings now. You can almost touch the tortoises with heads poking out of their caves. They bring an elephant out into the open area so you can see it up close and ask the keeper questions. I always love the monkeys and you can get the gibbons to shriek by imitating them. The kids love that.
